How to download PERRLA
When you purchase PERRLA you are registered in our customer database. As a registered customer you
may download the latest version of PERRLA from our website at any time.
In your web browser, go to http://www.perrla.com. You type this address in the address bar at the top
of your browser.
Your web browser may look a bit different. For this demonstration, weвЂ™re using Microsoft Internet
Explorer.
At the PERRLA home page, youвЂ™ll notice the Login button in the upper-right corner of the page.
Click the Login button and the log in web page will be displayed.
Enter the email address and password that you registered with us when you purchased our software. If
you have forgotten your password, enter your email address and leave the password field empty when
you submit the form and we will send your PERRLA password to the email address youвЂ™ve entered.
After entering your email address and password, click on the Login button. If your login is successful,
you will see the My PERRLA Home web page.

This is the place where you can maintain your personal information, change your password, update your
registered email addresses, download the software, and manually activate the software (if required).
Click on the Download link next to Get Latest PERRLA Software.
The next web page will show some instructions and screen pictures of what youвЂ™ll see when you click the
Download PERRLA button at the top of the page.

Clicking the Download PERRLA button at the top of the page will begin the download process.
Depending on your Windows security settings, you may be asked to verify that you wish to download a
file.
You browser will display a pop-up message, asking if you want to Save or Run the file youвЂ™re
downloading.
If your web browser gives you the option to run the file, choose that option and the installation process
will begin automatically after the file is completely downloaded.
If, instead, you are only prompted to save the file, save it and then wait for the file to download. Make
sure you remember the location on your computer where you saved the file. After it is downloaded,
youвЂ™ll need to double-click the file to begin the installation.
Your computer will likely ask you to verify that you want to run this program. Choose yes and PERRLA
will be installed on your computer.

KEEPING UP TO DATE
With PERRLA itвЂ™s simple to keep your software up to date. Each time you start PERRLA, it automatically
checks to see if there is a new version available.
If PERRLA finds an update, it will let you know and offer a choice to Upgrade, DonвЂ™t Upgrade, or Not Now
.
If you wish to Upgrade, click the Upgrade button and youвЂ™ll be taken directly to the download on the
PERRLA website. Depending on your browser, you will be prompted to Save or Run the file just like in
the previous demonstration.
Clicking the DonвЂ™t Upgrade button will cause PERRLA to no longer remind you that your software is outof-date until the next new version of PERRLA is available.

If you donвЂ™t want to upgrade now, but would like the option of upgrading the next time you start
PERRLA, click the Not Now button.
DonвЂ™t forget that even if you clicked the DonвЂ™t Upgrade button, you can download the latest version of
PERRLA from our website at any time.
