We are focused on making summer a fun filled experience for your child to cherish for a lifetime! The Department of Recreation and Park’s Day Camp Program is a co-ed camp serving children in Kindergarten through 10th grade. The camp provides a variety of experiences that support social and physical growth in a positive environment in which children have the opportunity to explore, play, learn from adult role models, develop self confidence, use their imagination, and create new friendships. The program stimulates exploration and adventure through individual and group activities while developing insight into cooperation and decision making. Amazing trips, sports, arts & crafts, swimming, games and creative activities promote an exhilarating summer for each camper. Our camp is where a camper’s personal, emotional, and physical needs are nurtured by a staff that has a great love of children. This camp will give you the peace of mind that your child is in a caring environment this summer. 1 The East Brunswick Day Camp is accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA). This means the Department of Recreation and Parks undergoes a thorough (up to 300 standards) review of its operation, from staff qualifications and training to emergency management. The American Camp Association collaborates with experts from the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Red Cross, and other youthserving agencies to assure that current practices at the camp reflect the most up -to-date, research-based standards in camp operation.
