people enjoying themselves.
We were welcomed by young

naughty.
June Hordern gave us a Comedy show that had us all in
stitches.
Sadly Joy Hobbs passed on.
She was one our well known

OK then, LET’S GO
Are you interested in life
drawing to keep that artistic
hand of yours functioning to
it’s best ability? This is what
life drawing will do for you.
We have Life Drawing on
Monday mornings and
Wednesday evenings, join in.
These sessions are not tutored .
There are two new classes that
will start you off again if you
have been out of sorts for a while
or are new and wanting to learn.
Errol Pike can assist you in any
direction you would like to go.
His classes are Tuesdays 1pm ’til
4pm, all mediums and all levels.
He will help you with your drawing skills as well as painting. His
specialties are using the paint
knife. Errol will turn you into a
better artist as all our tutors will.
The same can be said about another new tutor.
Polina Karlova tutors of a Tuesday evening 6pm ’till 9pm, in all
mediums and at all levels. This
evening class is designed so that
those working can now receive
top tutoring as those of a day
time.
Both these new classes you will
find give excellent tutoring and
help you paint those master
pieces to be proud of.

all the art related gossip before
everyone else does? You can
achieve all this and more by taking
up the editorship of the prestigious RQAS GC Newsletter. Published only 6 times a year makes
this editorship achievable by both
busy people and those with time

reads: "Editor of the Royal Queensland Art Society, Gold Coast Publication".

Gift Shope
You wil see that the ‘Gift Shop”
has been moved to the area
where is was meant to be in the
first place, and now the persons
on duty can keep there eyes on it
making sure that the cards etc are
paid for.
If you are painting a small canvas
for this section, please adhere to
the size. No bigger than 25cm in
either direction, this is including
the frame. Priced from $5 up to
$100 in multiples of $5.
Artist’s Name, the Title, and Price
clearly on the back and of course
ready to hang.
Cards must also have the Artist’
name clearly displayed so as you
can be paid.
AND DON’T FORGET
The Yellow consignment form
must be filled out for all that is for
sale in the Gift Shop
THE HANGING FEE
As most are aware, the hanging fee has reverted back to
the $5 per painting as it was.
The previous fee of $5 for the
2 paintings proved to be not
feasible, however it was worth
a try. If you don’t try out some
things you would never know
if they would work for you.
In this case it was a negative
result and that means it was
not a good thing for you or the
gallery as a whole.
