APOLYTIKION OF THEOPHANY
When You were baptized in the Jordan, O Lord, the worship of the Trinity was made
manifest. For the voice of the Father bore witness unto You, calling You the beloved
Son, and the Spirit in the form of a dove confirmed His word as sure and steadfast.
O Christ our God who has appeared and enlightened the world. Glory to You.

RESURRECTION HYMN (Tone 5) (Liturgical Resource, Page 14)
Eternal with the Father and the Spirit is the Word, Who of a Virgin was begotten for
our salvation. As the faithful we both praise and worship Him, for in the flesh did He
consent to ascend unto the Cross, and death did He endure and He raised unto life
the dead through His all glorious resurrection.

HYMN OF THE THREE HIERARCHS (Liturgical Resource, Pages 18, 19)
The three greatest luminaries of the Three-Sun Divinity, who with rays of dogmatic
teaching have set the universe a fire. The honey flowing rivers of wisdom who
have flooded all the creation with streams of divine knowledge. Basil the Great and
Gregory the Theologian, along with John the renowned, golden-mouth orator, all of
us admirers of their words, let us gather and with hymns honor them, for they to the
Trinity forever intercede for us.
KONTAKION (Tone 4)
Today You appeared to the world, and Your light, O Lord, has left its mark upon us
as in fuller understanding we sing to You: “You came, You were made manifest, the
unapproachable light.”
