LA MOLISANA SpA operates in the preparation and packaging sector of
traditional durum wheat pasta and an egg based pasta, producing over 100
different forms which are distributed both on national and international
markets. The products can be divided into 5 categories:

Regional Pasta
Comforting Pasta
Specialty Pasta
Wholewheat Pasta
The company has always been attentive to customer satisfaction and the
intrinsic quality of the product. In the production of high quality pasta,
company philosophy calls for a daily commitment for maximum expression of
sensory and health and hygiene quality of the product. In this regard the
company has established and maintains an Integrated Management System
compliant with UNI EN ISO 9001:2008, UNI EN ISO 14001: 2004, BRC and
IFS norms.
In the past few years La Molisana has combined its application of experience of
the past with the innovation of techno-productivity, distinguishing itself for the
following features:
research and selection of excellent raw materials;
implementation of hygiene standards in accordance with existing
regulations;
through HACCP application (health and safety certification) in compliance
with the established practices and standards dictated by the voluntary
BRC, IFS and ISO22000 sectors;
flexible distribution able to satisfy customer needs promptly;
compliance with mandatory and voluntary environmental legal
requirements;
compliance with health and safety measures in the workplace;
adoption of an ethical and responsible behaviour towards members of
staff.
In order to work respecting both the Quality and the Environment and with the
aim of meeting consumer needs, the company aims to:
improve operational and managerial capacities;
prevent pollution;
improve operational and environmental efficiency processes;
operate positively in the reduced consumption of non-renewable
resources and the production of waste;

rationalize the production and distribution process.
In order to achieve these objectives, a strategic plan was developed whose
main points are as follows:
to offer the market quality products with an absolute guarantee of
wholesomeness and genuineness in compliance with legal regulations;
continual improvement and innovation of products and services offered in
order to meet differing market requirements;
implement a policy of containment of production costs in order to offer
quality products at an affordable price, gathering and interpreting at the
same time, all the latest market trends;
to offer punctuality and precision in order to ensure maximum customer
satisfaction and guaranteeing prompt delivery and post-sales services;
implement an ongoing monitoring such as to reduce the underlying
causes of defects and, therefore, the non-conformity of process and
product innovation;
search for the most innovative technological solutions to improve the
quality and presentation of the product;
establish and maintain an integrated management system compliant with
UNI EN ISO 9001:2008, UNI EN ISO 14001: 2004, BRC and IFS
norms;
maintain constant monitoring the degree of compliance to the rules, laws
and other applicable environmental requirements endorsed by La
Molisana S.p.A., managing offsets with appropriate corrective actions;
promote and implement training programs/staff training at all levels of
the company to spread company policy and provide the skills necessary
to avoid significant environmental impacts;
promote preventive actions necessary to predict the onset of offsets of
environmental product standards, processes and systems;
maintain an adequate level of consultation and communication with
interested parties through official statements and the drafting of specific
budgets;
involving the pool of suppliers by promoting and implementing processes
and procedures for continuous improvement in environmental
performance (reduction of water consumption, electricity and the amount
of product waste);
maintain a high standard of hygienic sanitary facilities and infrastructure
in the knowledge that food production is primarily an ethical question, of
obligations on the part of producers and rights of the citizens, of
transparency and product traceability, in such a way that everyone’s
health is not only safeguarded, but moreover promoted;

regularly review the Environmental Management System and
Environmental Management Program to ensure their adequacy and
effectiveness.
The management is committed to continuously:
- make all the necessary (human, technical and financial) resources available
for the implementation of system quality;
- to take an active role in the promotion and guidance of all activities having
an influence on the impact that the organization can generate on the
surrounding environment;
- to transmit new corporate philosophy to all employees.
Environmental and quality policy is reviewed annually and updated in the
management review and is subsequently made available to the general public.
All members of staff, including management are responsible for the
environmental impact and implementation of system files for their own areas
of expertise.
