ERP Educational Reflective Practices Journal Call for papers n° II, 2014 The journal Educational Reflective Practices fits in with a wide scientific debate which identifies the reflective perspective as one of the most promising to re-‐think educational phenomena, practices and methodologies. The journal aims at fostering a public arena to critically discuss reflective approaches in education. Topics of interest are: 1. theoretical perspectives and reflective practices in education and training; 2. the development and training of critical and reflective thinking within life and work contexts; 3. educational strategies deployed to cultivate communities of reflective practices and to support organizational learning processes; 4. methodologies and emancipative tools in education; 5. educational reflective activity models and logics; 6. experiences and best practices in research, counselling and training within work contexts. Issue Reflective practices inside and outside workplaces. Apprenticeship, placement and professional development. Focus The objective of this issue is to collect innovative experimented approaches and experiences which allow us to understand the potential and/or limitations of the use of reflective strategies to support students and adults’ transitions from school/university/life to workplace. The focus is on the methodologies, approaches and experiences that can be used: a) to promote learning experiences that develop critical perspectives at work; b) to organize reflective educational settings where people can learn from professional experiences; c) to support learning by doing outside formal educational settings.
