As a slave hunter, Dae-gil has been shunned as
'a person worse than a brute' by people. While
doing his job, he gets proposed with huge
amount of money as a reward for catching a
slave from an unknown government official
(Lee Gyeong-seok titled as the first vice-premier). Being overzealous for the fair money to
gain sudden wealth, Dae-gil gets started with
slave-hunting immediately. But, the target is
nothing but the previous military instructor,
Song Tae-ha, who called as the best military
commander of Joseon Dynasty.
With disgrace, Song Tae-ha has been wrongfully accused of poisoning Crown Prince So-hyun,
along with the massacre for a clean sweep and
degraded to a state slave. Afterwards, he gets
a secret message that the youngest son of
Crown Prince So-hyun, has been prolonging
his life in Jeju Island. Tae-ha makes his decision
to save the eldest grandson of the King and
runs away. He thinks that he thoroughly covers his traces as a well-trained ex-professional
warrior while escaping. However, Dae-gil traces him from the next day, and Tae-ha is forced
to fight a bloody fight with Dae-gil. After he
has a narrow escape from the fierce fight, he

happens to accompany an unknown woman
named Hye-won.
Meanwhile, Lee Gyeong-seok can't call out the
governmental troops due to complicate political problems and commands his son-in-law
as well as the most reliable associate, Hwang
Cheol-wung (Lee Jong-hyuk) to kill Song Taeha. He aims at perfection by sending a professional slave-hunter on one hand and the best
martial artist of Joseon, Chul Woong on the
other hand. Above all, he takes this opportunity to murder all of his political opponents.
Dae-gil has failed the first attempt of his salvehunting and continuously loses clues of pursuing for several problems. He even gets threatened to be killed by a group of slaves who
formed a party to assassinate nobles.
The pursuit becomes more and more rough
and difficult. However, Dae-gil must succeed
in catching the slave. He must catch Tae-ha
who scratched on his pride and needs big
money, especially for the ‘rich retirement’ he
used to say.
Song Tae-ha goes to Chungju in order to meet
his former master, Lim Yeong-ho, but Hwang
Cheol-wung has taken a shortcut to kill Lim
Yeong-ho in advance and is waiting for Tae-ha.
Tae-ha, Dae-gil, and Hwang Cheol-wung encounter each other at Lim Yeong-ho's house.
Using the opportunity of complicated fights,
Tae-ha flees again. At the same time, Dae-gil
tracks down him again and obscurely recognizes Hye-won who is along with Tae-ha.
Under the same circumstance of being chased,
Tae-ha and Hye-won reluctantly keep going
together and become attached to each other.
In the mean time, Hwang Cheol-wung fails
to catch Tae-ha and heads for Jeju Island to
kill Prince Seok-gyun, and Tae-ha tries to find
Seok-hyun earlier than Chul-wung. Having
chased Tae-ha, Dae-gil happens to know his
family's enemy, Keunnomi's whereabouts and
changes his way...

meet agent Choi Seung-hee(Kim Tae-hee)
there and both fall in love with her. But Hyunjun and Seung-hee become close and Sa-woo
fights to hide his feelings for Seung-hee. One

sent on a mission to Hungary with Sa-woo.
When they successfully finish off their job with

both misled into thinking that the other had
died. Hyun-jun gets saved by an unidentifiable
‘Voice’ and learns the secret identity of a group
called, ‘Iris’.
1 year later, with the two Koreas about to be
reunified, Hyun-jun makes his return. After
spending a nightmarish life of being betrayed
and losing everything, Hyun-jun returns to
get revenge on those who threw him into
the living hell. With the help of the President,

Being a stepsister of Hyo-seon, Eun-jo is cynical about life, but she is cool-headed and very
talented. Although she moved into Gu Daesung’s house with her mother, she would never do that if she knew she would compete with
Hyo-seon all her life. Things she never desired
or asked for before somehow become the
things she must have when they are related
with Hyo-seon.
Hyo-seon is pretty, kind, and cheerful. As the
only daughter of Gu Dae-sung, she has grown

Kim Man-deok made herself a great merchant
with a strong will and efforts even under the
feudal system of Joseon Dynasty when the
idea that men are superior to women was
widespread. She is also a real person who
made a big change to the world with a broader
mind than any other heroic men had.
Although she was doomed to be dashed to
the road and suffered from a tough and difficult life in her childhood, she changed her
destiny from a beggar to a gisaeng, from a

Later, she works as a tough female leader of a
commercial organization located in Hanyang
and teaches the basic of commercial trade to

Kim Won-il (Kim Seong-min) is a son of Kim Jachun who is the supervisor (a kind of steward)

grandfather of Choi Guk-seok, gets angry and

Having monotonously repetitive daily life without any close friends or a girlfriend, Gu Dongbaek(Hwang Jeong-min) is an ordinary man
working at a post office. He feels sad about
that tomorrow will be the same as today.
A woman who cannot be with a man she loves
because of his father’s ambition, Han Ji-su(Kim
Ah-jung) has an angelic smile and is one of the
top actresses in Korea.
Their relationship begins on Dong-baek’s 33rd
birthday when Ji-su attends a film festival. On
his way home after watching the film festival,
Dong-baek witnesses a car accident caused
by Gang-mo and Ji-su. Gang-mo was driving a
car hastily to elude reporters who have been
prying into their secret affair. As Gang-mo has
a fiancee, he leaves the scene to cover their
relationship, and Ji-su, not having a driver’s
license, asks Dong-baek to pretend that he
drove the car.
However, the relationship between them
didn't end yet. Gang-mo and Ji-su plan to
spread a rumor of her romance with someone
else in order to keep a scandal with Gang-mo
from exposing. Through Dong-baek’s help, she
holds a press conference and falsely announces that they are a couple, and finally, they get

The married life with Ji-su is only a play, but

War period. It depicts a family’s story of a father Jo Jae-su, a janggu
player who doesn’t care his family, and his daughter, Geong-suk with
laughter and tears.
Jo Jae-su is a playboy who just wants to enjoy himself not caring his
family at all. His daughter, Gyeong-suk is a bully in her neighborhood
and always misses her father’s affection. However, this underqualified
father doesn’t know her mind, and scolds her every time. When the Korean War breaks out, he flees alone abandoning his family.
