We will provide many more suggestions upon arrival, but for now you might want to check out the following: The Phillips Collection, America’s first museum of modern art and home of Renoir’s magnificent “Luncheon of the Boating Party,” is a short walk from the hotel. There will be several special exhibitions during the conference weekend, including “Made in the USA,” American masters from the Phillips Collection, and “Neo‐Impressionism and the Dream of Realities.” The museum is open until 8:30 pm on Thursday nights. http://www.phillipscollection.org/. The Kennedy Center – There will be performances of “Evita” during the conference weekend as well as performances by the National Symphony Orchestra and Kennedy Center Chamber Players.
