Experience them for yourself and find out how we use them in medical training and simulation. AUTOMATION AND ROBOTICS IN INDUSTRY Dr Nasser Asgari and Dr Sherry Randhawa Visit our Robotics and Automation teaching lab, interact with our friendly industrial robots Baxter and Sawyer, and hear about how robotic simulations are used in training and industry. Get a taste of what it is like to be a game developer by using Unreal Engine, a tool used by industry professionals, to modify a first person shooter. See our state-of-the art hexapod in action and see how we use it to understand more about the joints, bones and soft tissues in our bodies and to assist us to develop new implants, artificial joints and other medical devices to improve people’s health and wellbeing. The Flinders Motorsport Team is made up of current students from a range of engineering disciplines. Have a go at their immersive racing simulator, hear about the great technology they’re developing, and find out what to study to get involved for yourself!
