This simulated workplace activity will involve delivering a training session to a group. This activity
will take place during a workshop, or be submitted as a video recording or involve a Skype
assessment for distance learning students.
Planning and preparing

context
Assessment will take place during a group activity. Students should have the
Learning guide available as well as a phone, video camera or access to Skype for
distance learning students
Student Instructions
1) Develop a session plan for a specific learning session from your written plan. Develop any learning
materials and aids that you require.
2) Deliver 40 mins of that learning to a small sample group during the workshop
or for distance learning students
3) Video the session and submit to the Food Coach Institute via Dropbox or deliver the session to the
assessor via Skype
