The Central Texas Summer Hunter & Jumper Show, the Decker Lake Hunter & Jumper Show, the
Summer Circuit Championship Show, Travis County, the Wilco Expo Center, Williamson County, and
G&M Enterprises will not be responsible for any accident which may occur to any rider, groom,
attendant, animal, or equipment or for damage or loss of equipment.
3. stabling & schooling fees
10' x 10' box stalls with doors.
Stall Fees: $90
Shavings must be purchased at the show. You may not bring your own shavings. No horse may
remain on the grounds overnight without renting a stall. Any horse schooling but not showing will be
charged an $25 schooling fee.
4. schooling
From 1PM until 7:30 PM on Thursday. Other times to be announced.
5. accommodations
Camper Hookups: Limited camper slots without hookup will be available for $15 per night. Please
reserve ahead.
Motels: There are many hotels in Taylor convenient to the Expo Center.
6. unloading and parking
Vehicle access to the building will not be permitted. Vehicles may pull up to the building for loading
and unloading purposes only.
Plentiful parking for cars and trailers is available on the show grounds directly adjacent to the rings and
stables.
Rules and Regulations
1. association membership requirements
Central Texas Hunter & Jumper Association. All riders participating must be members of the Central
Texas Hunter & Jumper Association or must join at that show. All membership information (including
birthdates) must be complete, or points will not be counted.
2. registration
Preregistration. Stall resevation can be made by repaying the stall fee. This will be a nonrefundable
fee. Preregistration for classes for any of the 3 shows requires no money and no obligation (if
canceling, please call 512-924-8562).
Numbers may be picked up ONLY if 1) an open check has been left in the office, and 2) entry
blanks are COMPLETED. Any exceptions to this will need to be worked out in advance and will
result in a $50 additional office fee being added to the entry.
Class entry limit. There shall be a limit of 13 classes per horse, per day. Violation of the limit will result
in loss of all points for the horse and rider(s) for the show.
Add/Scratch Policy. All adds and scratches must be made in writing before the end of the applicable
class(es). Exhibitors showing in classes without filling out an add slip will be charged a $3.00 post entry
fee for each class. Exhibitors failing to fill out a scratch form will be charged for the applicable class(es).

One entry blank may be used if registering for one or more of these three shows. Entries may to
emailed to Holly Mortimer at Giddyupngo@att.net or Beverly at sumcircuit@aol.com. Look for an entry
blank you can fill out online at beverlymanroe.com.
Faithful Exhibitor Discount. Rider/horse combinations showing in all 3 shows will receive a $20 credit
on their entries at the Summer Circuit Championship Show .
Trainer Stall Incentive: Trainers with 8 or more horses renting a stall at any one of the three shows
will receive one stall at that show for no charge.
3. judges’ decisions are final
Any act of discourtesy or disobedience to the judges or any show officials on the part of owner,
manager, trainer, coach, rider, or groom shall disqualify the horse, and the owner shall forfeit his
entry and other fees. This includes failure to keeps dogs on a leash or otherwise confined.
4. centex members’ views
CenTex members are encouraged to discuss their views with the Ring Committee.
5. awards
CenTex-designated classes (CT) are recognized by the Central Texas Hunter & Jumper Association.
Riders must be CenTex members to compete in these classes. CenTex points will be awarded to all
horses and riders in these classes.
Circuit Award Points will be awarded in classes in all 3 circuit shows (see below). No special
membership or registration is necessary to be eligible.
Champion and Reserve Awards. All Hunter and Jumper division titles shall be awarded in accordance
with current USEF rules.
Ties in Jumper Classes. Jump-offs for first place only. Ties for all other places will be determined by
the fastest time in the first round among those with equal faults. Ties for Champion or Reserve will
remain tied.
Prizes. A trophy and 6 ribbons will be awarded in all classes unless otherwise designated. Prize money
will be mailed to exhibitors within three weeks after the show or credited when settling account.
ADD BACKS will be awarded as follows: 1-30%, 2-22%, 3-16%, 4-14%, 5-10%, 6-8%
PRIZE MONEY will be awarded as follows:

Circuit High Point Coolers. Coolers will be awarded at the Summer Circuit Championship Show,
August 15-17, to horses and/or riders accumulating the highest number of points in the following
divisions. Points will be awarded: 1st-7; 2nd-5; 3rd-4; 4th-3; 5th-2; 6th-1. No championship points
will count toward circuit high point awards. Division must fill at 2 of the 3 shows for cooler to be
awarded.

6. rider’s attire
Riders must be properly attired. Riding coats are not required. Certified hard hats must be worn at all
times when mounted. A polo shirt with collar may be substituted for a riding shirt, however, T-SHIRTS
ARE UNACCEPTABLE!
7. rider and trainer conflicts
Riders and trainers who have conflicts because of classes in more than one ring at the same time
should see the paddock masters so that necessary adjustments can be made. Management reserves
the right to close classes before all entries have ridden if it deems it necessary in order to run the show
in a timely manner.
8. veterinarian and farrier availability
A veterinarian and a farrier will be on call. Their phone numbers will be posted near the show office.
9. coggins test
In accordance with the requirements of the State of Texas, proof of a current (1 year) test must be
presented to the Show Secretary before numbers can be picked up.
10. texas equine liability act
Warning: Under Texas Law (Chapter 87, Civil Practice and Remedies Code) an equine
professional is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in equine activities
resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities.

round will be judged over a 2'9’ course of 10 to 12 jumps with 3’ options. One point for each higher

Open to horses and ponies who have been champion or reserve champion in any hunter division at the
2016 Summer Circuit Shows. This includes divisions completed before the start of the classic at the
Summer Circuit Championship Show. Fences shall be set at the heights for the division in which the
horse won its award. The horse’s rider must be eligible to compete in the division in which the award
was won, i.e. the Adult Hunter Champion must be ridden by an eligible Adult. The class will be one
round of 8 to 12 fences.
