• Enhance the synergy of urban blue (water) and green
(vegetation) components interacting other urban Eco-SS
• BGD promotes a new paradigm for efficient planning and
management of the urban environment:
• It maximizes ecosystem services’ performance, minimizes
environmental footprint and increases the cities’ adaptive
capacity to CC,

Provide effective, multifunctional Blue Green Solutions (BGS)
to support urban adaptation to CC.
