EcoSupply P SPECIAL PAINT SUPPLY SYSTEM Function »» Automatic painting booth, 25 l hobbock The number of paint colors used in painting has increased significantly in recent years. In particular, plastic component manufacturers and van and truck manufacturers have more than 100 colors, and car manufacturers have also had to adapt to customer requirements. Such a high number of colors makes the flexibly piggable special color system EcoSupply P a must. Depending on the color distribution / consumption of individual paint colors, it may already make sense to install the second EcoSupply P system instead of standard ring pipe systems. Using pigging technology (a pig = a plug), the paint is pushed through the pig hoses without leaving any residue. Pig hoses are used instead of pipes due to their better cleaning efficiency. Dürr offers various processes to meet diverse customer needs: »» Reflow process, paint recovery: paint is pushed back into the supply container after the painting process. »» Push-out process with reduced paint input: for this painting process the required paint color is pushed out towards the atomizer »» Combination of push-out and reflow processes: depending on customer requirements and application situations, both processes can be combined Depending on the barrel sizes used, the number of paint take off point and the car bodies to be painted (max. batch size), the above-mentioned methods are integrated into the various EcoSupply P systems: Basic main pass system: Each side of the booth supplies a piggable hose to the paint take off point, the paint hoses inside the robot are unpigged. Main pass system: Each side of the booth supplies a piggable hose to the paint take off point. The paint hoses inside the robot are also pigged. Paint losses are minimized. Single pass system: Each robot is equipped with a piggable hose to the color changer. Paint losses are minimized. The pigging technology‘s destination stations on Dürr equipment are preferably integrated into the different color changers (MCC3 / LCC), this way there is no color loss arising during the transition from the paint supply to the application technology. www.durr.com »» Paint station for larger barrels TECHNICAL DATA Selection matrix Push out process Basic main pass with Main pass (optimized against color loss) without with Single pass without with without Color loss Reduced paint input Max. batch size Technical data Pig material Pig service life PE 100 km or 1,000 cycles Pigging hose material Nominal width Pig speed EcoSupply P color change time depends on equipment type PFA DN9 / DN12 / DN16 Up to 1 m / s From 10 min Color change time at color changer With several systems analog color changer Siemens S7 standard control With visualization based on Intouch, EcoScreen »» Pig destination station DN9 LCC pushout / reflow Color systems in a wide variety of designs according to customer requirements: »» Simple manually operated paint systems on a frame »» Barrel sizes: 10 l – 1,000 l »» Fully automatic 25 l stainless steel paint cabinet Options »» EcoSupply P connection to competitors’ robots / application technology »» Control/visualization according to customer requirements »» Pig source station DN 16 reflow www.durr-application-technology.com Subject to change.
