Let’s walk together and
show them we care!
$50,000 represents the support of
100 pregnant women and their
families for 12 months.
F.A.Q.
Where is the Relay?
The Relay begins at Spring Garden Church at 112 Spring
Garden Ave, Willowdale, ON, M2N 3G3 (near Yonge &
Sheppard).
Why is it called a Relay?
Relays require individuals working together. How beautiful
it is when Christians unite to support women who are alone
and pregnant. Let’s be the hands and feet of Christ. Let’s
walk together and show them we care!
How do I register myself or my Relay Team?
Register at PCCFriends.ca/Events. Please call us at 416-2292607 if you have any questions. A team can be a minimum
of 1 person.
Is there parking available?
Yes. The Relay begins and ends at Spring Garden Church.
There is parking available at the church and on Kenneth
Ave. Sheppard-Yonge Station is a 10 minute walk away.
*participants who raise $20 or more receive free lunch & t-shirt
Pregnancy Care Centre
Can I bring my children?
Absolutely! This isn't a race, so the Relay is stroller and kid
friendly. There are several playgrounds along the route.
There are also church checkpoints where you can stop for
drinks and washrooms.
You say there are prizes? a BBQ? T-shirts?
Yes, indeed. We will be drawing prizes for all sorts of
categories during the BBQ. For those who collect pledges of
$20 or more will receive free lunch and a free T-shirt.
What if I don't have a Relay Team?
No problem! You can be a team of one!
Tips for Collecting Donation Pledges
 Set a goal for yourself - Make the first pledge so
others can see your personal commitment
 Carry your pledge form with you wherever you go
so you are always prepared
 Collect money as people sign your pledge form
 Create an Online Fundraising Page and share it on
all your social media!
 Let your sponsors know they can use cash or
cheque (payable to the Pregnancy Care Centre) or
credit card online and that all donations over $20
will be issued a tax receipt
 Check with your work's HR department to see if
your company participates in a corporate
matching program
 Let friends, family, co-workers, church, and
neighbours know why you are collecting pledges
for donations, what it means to you, and why it's
important. Let them know that the Pregnancy
Care Centre exists so that no one needs to believe
that abortion is their only option.
What if I can't participate on May 9th?
 Go online to www.pccfriends.ca/events to make
a donation
 Donate through someone else you know who is
participating in the Relay
 Collect donation pledges and ask someone else to
walk in your place
 Create a Fundraising Page online – see our
website for more details
