Safe Environment Training
Safe Environment (SE) training is scheduled for Monday,
August 15, 2016, at 7 p.m. in the Parish Hall, Classroom
#1. All who are 14 years of age or older and participate in
the church ministries of usher, choir, nursery, or Religious
Education teacher/aid and have not attended SE training
MUST attend. Please ensure your application is completed
and turned in to the church office prior to training. Additional information and forms can be found on the church

It’s time…The Second Annual Oktoberfest will be
here before you know it. Reserve your seat today by either attending one of our Open House
events to register or you can go to the church
website, www.holyspiritmustang.org, and select
the Oktoberfest link. The next Open House Registration is the weekend of August 13th and 14th
after every Mass. So come by Classroom #1 by
the Director of Religious Education Office to reserve your seat. Reservations are $40.00, which
includes all food and drink. Want to sit with your
family and friends? Get a Munich Picnic Table. It is $450.00, which includes 8 reservations,
for this specially decorated table.
Also, if you would like to be an Oktoberfest
Sponsor, come to the Open House and we can
get you signed up. The sponsorship levels are:

This program will promote dynamic leadership for lifelong
catechesis and youth ministry in parishes. Leaders will participate in a series of eight courses that will lead to a certificate. The program is designed for pastors/associate pastors, deacons, youth ministry coordinators, prospective
youth ministry leaders, directors of religious education, high
school campus ministers or youth ministry teams. Courses
in October, November, February and March at the Catholic

Unity prayer service and walk
Join the Family Policy Institute of Oklahoma and hundreds
of faithful Catholics, Methodists, Anglicans, Baptists, Evangelicals and others for a special prayer event Aug. 15, in
celebration of the love and mercy of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
The walk begins at 6 p.m. at the Jesus Wept Statue, NW 5
and Harvey Avenue. Prayer service at 6:30 p.m., First
Church, in downtown OKC, 131 NW 4 at Robinson. Go
