Gee-Woo Bock received his PhD with emphasis on Management Engineering at Korea Advanced
Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in Seoul, Korea, 2001. After graduation, he worked
for the National University of Singapore as an assistant professor. He has served as a member of
I&M Board of Editors since 2008 and as an associate editor of Asia Pacific Journal of Information
Systems since 2009. His current research interests are knowledge management, virtual
community, trust in electronic commerce, online rumors, and supply chain management. His
papers published in MIS Quarterly, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Information
and Management, Communications of the ACM, International Journal of Electronic Commerce,
European Journal of Information Systems, Journal of Information Science, Behavior &
Information Technology, and many others.
Jungpil Hahn is an Associate Professor of Information Systems at the School of Computing at the
National University of Singapore (NUS). Prior to joining NUS, he was an Assistant Professor of
Management at the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University in West Lafayette (IN)
and a Visiting Assistant Professor of Information Systems at the Tepper School of Business at
Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh (PA). He has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in
Business Administration from Yonsei University in Seoul Korea and he earned his Ph.D. in
Information and Decision Sciences from the Carlson School of Management at The University of
Minnesota. His research focuses on open innovation, organizational learning and knowledge
management, software development processes, software project management and digital
collaboration. His research has been published in Information Systems Research, Organization
Science, Journal of Management Information Systems, Decision Support Systems, and the ACM
Transactions on Human-Computer Interaction as well as in proceedings of major conferences
such as the International Conference on Information Systems, the ACM Conference on Human
Factors in Computing Systems, the ACM Conference on Computer-Supported Cooperative Work,
and the Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences. His research has also been
presented at major conferences such as the INFORMS Annual Meeting, the INFORMS Conference
on Information Systems and Technology, the Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management,
the Workshop on Information Systems and Economics, the Workshop on Information Technology
and Systems and the Annual Meeting of the Productions and Operations Management Society.
Weiling Ke is an associate professor in Operations and Information Systems at the School of
Business at Clarkson University. Her research interests include Enterprise Systems, Open
Innovation, and Electronic Commerce. She serves the editorial boards of several journals including
Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Information & Management, Journal of Global
Information Management and AIS Transaction son Human-Computer Interaction. Her articles have

appeared in Journal of Operations Management, Journal of Management Information Systems,
Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Communications of the ACM, Decision Support
Systems, Personnel Psychology and many others.
Ting-Peng Liang is a National Chair Professor at National Chengchi University and Director of the
Electronic Commerce Research Center at National Sun Yat-Sen University. He is also a Fellow of
the Association for Information Systems. He received his doctoral degree from The Wharton
School of the University of Pennsylvania and has taught at the University of Illinois, Purdue
University, the Chinese University of Hong Kong and City University of Hong Kong. He had been
Provost and Dean of the College of Management, Director of the Graduate Institute of
Information Management, and Director of the Software Incubator of NSYSU. His primary
research interests include electronic commerce, intelligent decision support, knowledge
management, and strategic applications of information systems. He has published a number of
articles in research journals, including Management Science, MIS Quarterly, Journal of MIS,
Operations Research, Decision Support Systems, Information and Management, International
Journal of Electronic Commerce, and many others. He is the founding editor of the Pacific Asia
Journal of AIS, co-Chief Editor of the Journal of Electronic Commerce Research, and on the
editorial board of Journal of AIS, International Journal of Electronic Commerce, Decision Support
Systems, and a few others.
Fiona Fui-Hoon Nah is a Professor of Business & Information Technology at the Missouri University
of Science and Technology (formerly University of Missouri-Rolla). Her research interests
include human-computer interaction, 3D virtual worlds, and mobile & ubiquitous
commerce. She is a Senior Editor for Journal of the Association for Information Systems and AIS
Transactions on Human-Computer Interaction. She is an Associate Editor for several journals
including International Journal of Human-Computer Studies and Information &
Management. She is a co-Founder and former Chair of the Association for Information Systems
Special Interest Group on Human-Computer Interaction (SIGHCI).
Choon Ling Sia is Associate Dean for Research and Postgraduate Studies at the College of Business,
and Professor at the City University of Hong Kong. He received his Ph.D. degree from the
National University of Singapore. He is Director of Center of Social Media Marketing and
Business Intelligence at the City University of Hong Kong. He is serving, or has served, on the
editorial boards of Journal of the AIS, MIS Quarterly, IEEE Transactions on Engineering
Management, Journal of Global Information Management, Information and Management, and
Journal of Database Management. His research interests include electronic commerce, social
media, cross-cultural issues in information systems, knowledge management, distributed work
arrangements, and computer-mediated communication. His research work has been published

Hock-Hai Teo is an Associate Professor of Information Systems and the Head of the Department of
Information Systems at the School of Computing, National University of Singapore. Prior to his
current appointment as Head of Department, Dr. Teo had served as Vice-Dean, Corporate
Communications from August 2007 to August 2008. His research interests are in the areas of IT
innovation adoption, assimilation and impacts, information privacy, electronic market
institutions, and virtual communities. Dr. Teo has published broadly in journals such as the ACM
Transactions on Computer-Human Interactions, MIS Quarterly, Journal of Management
Information Systems, Information Systems Research, IEEE Transactions on Engineering
Management, International Journal of Human-Computer Studies, and Information and
Management and has presented at numerous international conferences, including
the International Conference on Information Systems. He is currently serving or has served on
the editorial boards of Data Base for Advances in Information Systems, European Journal of
Information Systems, International Journal of Electronic Commerce, Information Systems
Research, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management and MIS Quarterly. He has won
numerous best paper award at conferences and was also the winner of the MIS
Quarterly Reviewer of the Year (2004) award.
