Attention: All interested teams
Winners Sports Club Inc. extends an invitation to your organization to participate in our
Carnival Invitational Netball Rally. The rally is scheduled for Saturday, October 8, 2016.
There will be raffles, prizes, including cash and many other surprises. The venue for the
tournament is The Parkland Recreation Center Gymnasium located at 10559 Trails End in
Parkland Florida. The rally commences at 9:00 am sharp.
The tournament will be divided in the following divisions:
1. Under 21
2. Open Division
3. Mixed – 3 female and 4 male on the court
Enclosed please find a copy of our tournament rules, registration form and hotel
information. Should your team(s) require a visa for travel purposes, please go ahead and
make an appointment with your immigration agency, then complete and return the
registration from by September 1, 2016 accompanied by non-refundable registration fee.
Upon receipt of your registration fee, your team /club name will be forward to the embassy
along a notarized letter, a copy of which will also be sent to your organization. Please note
that Winners Sports Club cannot guarantee receipt of visas as they are issued at the
embassy’s discretion.
Due to the limitation on the number of teams which will be accepted for this tournament,
we urge you to respond as soon as possible. Walk-ons will not be accepted on the day of
the tournament. We look forward to your favorable reply.

ANNUAL NETBALL RALLY

COMMENCING AT 9:00 AM
RULES & GUIDELINES GOVERNING THE RALLY
THE INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF NETBALL ASSOCIATION RULES IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE FOLLOWING RULES GOVERNS THIS RALLY.
1. THE UMPIRES DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND SHALL BE GIVEN WITHOUT APPEAL.
TEAM (S) WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE DISQUALIFIED FOR FIGHTING AND ASKED TO
LEAVE THE AREA.
a. Each team shall provide a qualified umpire who will be available to umpire on
schedule.
b. If a team does not provide an umpire, the team shall pay a fee of $50. 00 with
registration application or team will not take the court
2. Teams who are not present on the court for their scheduled game will forfeit the points; if
both teams are not present, the match will be declared null and void.
3. Teams {will be divided into Sections}/will play round -robin (depending on the amount of
teams). The winners and runners-up of the Sections/the first two teams in each division
will advance to the semi-finals.
Points will be awarded as follows: Win - 5; Draw – 3; Loss – 1 if losing team scores
50% or more of winner’s score.
a. In the event of a draw on points, goal average will be used to determine the winner and
runner-up of each Section.
b. Extra time will be given accordingly if teams draw during the semi-final and final
matches.
4. The duration of each match shall be determined (depending on the amount of teams) with
NO HALF TIME and NO INJURY TIME. In the event of a serious injury, the player(s) shall
be removed from the court immediately so that play can continue.
a. The Timekeeper's Signal in conjunction with the umpire's WHISTLE shall indicate the
start, half- time and end of each match.
b. At the end of the first half, teams shall change ends.
5. Players are allowed to register and play for only on one team for the duration tournament.

6. Awards will be presented to the winners and runners-up as well as the MVP (the player
who makes a difference in her team's progress throughout the tournament and must play
in the finals), and the Most Disciplined Team – (criteria: punctuality, behavior on and off the
court).
7. FOR ANY UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCE (S) THAT MAY ARISE DURING THIS RALLY,
THE DECISION WILL BE SOLELY THAT OF THE ORGANIZERS.
