Review of action items from the November 4th meeting

•
Diane dePolo will work with Gail Powell on getting web pages on Earthquake Awareness Week
posted with the Nevada Division of Emergency Management. She will contact Washington to get
copies of English, Spanish, and other translated web pages. She will also get new wording for the
Governor’s proclamation.
•
Craig dePolo will forward information that is currently available on visitors to Jim Reagan and
Jeff Hahn. Jim will form a task force to investigate the most pressing needs.
•
Rick Martin will work on a nomination for the position on the NESC Board of Directors for
Community Organizations-Southern Nevada and the positions for term-limited legislators.
•
The Council will establish a task force to investigate the current state of practice of fault
investigations and make appropriate recommendations for changes to NESC guidelines or other
policy recommendations.
•
Werner Hellmer will forward his recommendations on LPG tank testing to Ian Buckle and Terri
Garside. Jim Reagan asked that Werner Hellmer, Ian Buckle, and Jenelle Hopkins be on a task
force to prepare a proposal for shake-table experiments.
