Work Placement Position AFL North Coast Marketing and Events Officer AFL North Coast represents the region from Taree in the south to Iluka in the north. The key function of AFL North Coast is to promote, foster, and grow the sport through the provision of introductory programs, competition opportunities, representative programs, coaching, umpiring, and volunteer opportunities. AFL North Coast conducts both a Junior and Senior competition with clubs from across the region. Session 1 (30): BUS220 & BUS370 Session 2 (60): BUS110 & BUS370 Session 3 (90): BUS110 & BUS220 Subject/s: Specialisation: Marketing & Events Management Location: NSW North Coast (ideally Coffs Harbour) Availability: 1 position available AFL North Coast has recognised the need to increase its profile within the broader community, leading to greater recognition of the local competition and its clubs, an increased number of registered players, and an increased level of engagement by the regional business community with the sport. Specific duties may include: Sponsorship recruitment and partnership development Event co-ordination, e.g. Season Launch, corporate functions, Finals Series, representative fixtures and associated events, Annual Presentation Night Social media implementation Website maintenance and development Media liaison in relation to events and programs Development and implementation of internal communication strategies targeted towards clubs and their members Email your cover letter and copy of academic transcript to paul.taylor@aflnswact.com.au.
