AIP Conf erence Pr oceedings 663 Rarefied Gas Dynamics 23rd International Symposium Important Information and Set-Up Instructions Loading Adobe® Acrobat® This CD-ROM is viewed using the free Adobe® Acrobat® Reader® program which can be installed from this CD-ROM or downloaded from "www.adobe.com". For Windows users, this CD-ROM requires Acrobat® Reader® 5.0.5 to run correctly. For MAC and UNIX users, Acrobat® Reader® version 4.0 or higher must be used. File Management It is important to adjust your Acrobat® Reader® software so that it closes all files you open as you move around this CD-ROM. Many windows opened simultaneously may slow your computer down. To get the proper setting, follow these steps: Version 4.0 1. 2. 3. 4. These are designed to help get you to and from all the information presented on this CD-ROM. Below is an explanation on how each bookmark works. The Main Menu bookmark will always get you back to the main menu page of the CD-ROM, where all sections of the CD-ROM are identified The Table of Contents bookmark will always get you back to the table of contents from any page in the body of the CD-ROM. The Search bookmark will bring you to the Search screen, this bookmark only appears on selected screens. Searching this CD-ROM Setting Up Search Fields The Search bookmark shown on the left of each paper will bring you to the search screen. Before initiating your search you must set Acrobat® Reader® to include the Document Information Field search capability on your search screen. This CD-ROM can be searched by utilizing the Document Information fields. These fields can be found just below the text search field in the search screen (see below for search screen layout).
