Mysterious rows of dots and grids. Nobody can say what the meaning was for the creator more then ten millenias before. Was this the beginning of conceptional design? The original signs are found in the cave of Lascaux, France. In this handprinted book some signs are hand composed with typographic materials: lines and dots. After the pages with the signs follows a page with some excerpts from different special literature about the thinking of the poeple in the stone age and their philosophy. The photographs (printed in offset) on the following double page show the original signs in the cave. On the back cover a text from the book Taoteking by the Chinese philosopher Laotse.
