19^9 when Leland R. Brown, a graduate o f the U n iv e rs ity o f C a lifo rn ia , w i l l take
over.
P ro fe s s o r LaFevre i s a graduate o f Lebanon C ollege and has ca rried on gradu­
ate work at the School o f O rien ta l Studios in P eip in g , China, and at C orn ell and the
U n iv e rs ity o f B u ffa lo .
He has also served as n a tu r a lis t fo r the A llegan y State Park,

TOP HONORS
A number o f S tation youngsters were given sp ecia l re c o g n itio n as honor students
o f the I 9A8 cla ss during graduation ex e rc is e s at Geneva High School la s t week.
To
gain th is rec o g n itio n meant that the in d iv id u a l had maintained an average o f 90$.

daughter o f Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Walsh ( B i l l was form erly a S ta tion chem ist), in a
Syracuse High School.
