UCD trio is a powdered medical food containing a blend of essential amino acids, carbohydrate,
fat, vitamins, minerals and trace elements.
Indications
For use in the dietary management of Urea Cycle Disorders and other disorders where the use of
essential amino acids is indicated. Suitable for individuals from 1 year of age.

Preparation Guidelines

into glass/mixing cup.

Step 2: Add approx 135ml
(4.5 fl. oz) of cold water. UCD trio can be used during pregnancy.
Not for use as sole source of nutrition.
Not for intravenous use

Step 3: Mix well until all of the
powder is dissolved.

Step 4: Drink immediately.

Any unused UCD trio should be stored in a
refrigerator and consumed within 24 hours.
Shake well before use.
To make more than one serving:
Measure the required number of
scoops and add the recommended
amount of water.Mix well until all of
the powder is dissolved. Store prepared
formula in a covered container in a
refrigerator and use within 24 hours. Shake or mix well before use.
Storage
Unopened: UCD trio should be stored in a
cool dry place.
Once opened: Use within one month.
