5.4
Special protective equipment for firefighting
Wear personal protective equipment (self-contained breathing apparatus, gloves, helmet, safety goggles,
fire-proof safety footwear)
5.5
Additional information
Use water spray jet to protect personnel and to cool endangered containers. Fire residues and
contaminated firefighting water must be disposed of according to local regulations.
6.
Accidental release measures
6.1
Personal Precaution
Keep away from sources of heat (e.g. hot surfaces), sparks and open flames. No smoking.

Precautions against fire and explosions
No smoking. Therefore keep away from fire and sources of ignition. Protect from extreme temperatures
and take precautionary measures against static discharges. Solvent vapour are heavier than air. Explosive
mixture vapour/air can occur even at room temperature. In the area when this risk can occur, use only nonsparking tools. Keep away from flammable and/or oxidant agents.
7.2
Storage:
Technical measures and storage conditions
Keep/Store only in original containers and keep container tightly closed. Store in a dry, well-ventilated
area, with a solvent-resistant floor or a collecting basin. Protect from extreme temperatures and take
precautionary measures against static discharges. Proper storage condition: Room temperature, do not
store at temperatures above 20°C.
Hints on joint storage
Incompatible with Pharmaceutical products
Food and beverages
Feed
Flammable products
Substances that can produce flammable gas in contact with water
Organic peroxides
Oxidizing agents
Further information on storage conditions
Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs.
7.3
Specific use(s)
The recommended use for this mixture is as ink in piezoelectric inkjet printing machines.
