This half-term you are to complete at least 4 of the tasks on the sheet - take care to produce well-presented work that showcases

Write a newspaper article – it
could be about an actual event or
a fictional one. Think carefully how
a newspaper article looks and
what it needs to include.
We are learning about South
America this half term in
geography. Create a booklet all
about one of the countries in
South America – include lots of
information and images about the
people and the landscape.
Draw a portrait – this could be a
self-portrait or of another person.

Who inspires you? Imagine you
are writing a letter to a person
who inspires you – include
explanations of why they are an
inspiration.
What makes a good friend?
Produce a wanted poster
explaining the qualities you look
for in a good friend.
What foods are produced in South
America? Write a list of foods that
you have researched to be
produced in South America. You
can illustrate this list too.
Can you conduct an experiment
that demonstrates water or air
resistance?

Practice your times tables – it is incredibly important and can improve
your calculating and confidence in many areas of maths.
Choose at least 3 times tables and show how you have been practising.
Are you able to recall the inverse facts?
e.g. 6 x 8 = 48
48 ÷ 8 = 6 48 ÷ 6 = 8
Remember to use games like ‘hit the button’ to practise.
