How to check Punjab State Bumper Lottery Result?
Punjab State Bumper Lotteries have Two/Three series(A and B) with ten lakh
tickets each as per below:
Series A: 000000 to 999999
Series B: 000000 to 999999
Some Examples to Match Lottery Tickets:
1. Suppose, you have purchased three bumper tickets with numbers:1. A-126792, 2. B-167924, 3. B-679215
And 6792 is the winning number for 7th prize from draw you are checking result
then correct method of checking result will be as below:
a) A- 1 2 6 7 9 2 Correct matching – this ticket has won the 7th prize of bumper draw
b) A- 1 6 7 9 2 4 Wrong matching
c) A- 6 7 9 2 1 5 Wrong matching
2. Suppose, you have purchased one bumper ticket with number:A-234355
And B-234355 is the winning number for 2 n d prize of Lottery then correct method
of checking result will be as below:
a) A- 2 3 4 3 5 5 Wrong matching
b) B- 2 3 4 3 5 5 Correct matching – this ticket has won the 2 n d prize of bumper draw
3. Suppose, you have purchased one bumper ticket with number:A-234355
And 234355 is the winning number for 4 t h prize of Lottery then correct method of
checking result will be as below:
a) A- 2 3 4 3 5 5 Correct matching – this ticket has won the 4 t h prize of bumper draw
b) B- 2 3 4 3 5 5 Correct matching – this ticket has won the 4 t h prize of bumper draw
Both series won Rs. 1 Lac for 4th prize of lottery
4. For Consolation prize Winner (if offered in Prize Schemes, Please check backside of ticket)
Suppose, you have purchased one bumper ticket with number
B-234355
And A-234355 is the winning number for 1 s t prize of Lottery then correct method of
checking result will be as below:
a) A- 2 3 4 3 5 5 - This ticket has won the 1 s t prize of bumper draw
b) B- 2 3 4 3 5 5 - This ticket has won the Consolation Prize of bumper draw

If you see the result you will find out that for 7 th prize only 20 (last four digit)
numbers are mentioned but winners are written 4000 then how it works ;
Example : How many times a last four digit combination 4567 will come in series
00000 to 99999 ?
Ans :- It comes 10 times. How ? 04567, 14567, 24567, 34567, 44567, 54567, 64567, 74567,
84567, 94567
This is how one number (4567) and 10 winners.
Note : So to check the result you need to match last four digit number,
last five digit numbers or exact six digit numbers from your ticket with
different numbers given in copy of bumper result according to level of
prize last 7th prize, 6 th prize … or 1st prize
METHOD OF DRAW
The following prizes shall be given on the basis of the draw, to be conducted by Director
Lotteries or officers deputed by him in this behalf in accordance with the method
prescribed against each prize.
