Just a reminder: New online registra3on procedures
This fall also brings a change to our online registration procedures. We have updated our system to make it easier
to register for classes online. You will now be able to log in with an e-mail address and create your own password.
And there is good news for parents! You are able to log in to the system with the same e-mail address for multiple
users (i.e. yourself and your children or multiple children) as long as each user has a unique password.
Read below for more detailed instructions:
Step 1: From the Community Education Web site at https://communityed.moorhead.k12.mn.us/ click on the catalog cover or
choose Class Offerings from the left menu.
Step 2: On the course listings page, select the class category to view all classes in that section (i.e. Cooking or Recreation &
Fitness).
Step 3: Pick a class.
Step 4: Click on Enroll Yourself or (Your Child: ECFE & Youth Classes).
Please note that when registering your child for a class, the registration must be made using your child’s name and birth date.
Step 5: Log on by entering the e-mail address you have provided to Community Education. If you do not know which, if any, email address has been used, please contact the Community Education office at 284-3400.
The first time you log in, you will need to use a public password that will be the first letter of your first name and the first letter
of your last name followed by your zip code (i.e. John Smith of Moorhead, MN will use js56560). You will then be prompted to
create a new password. After this point, the public password will no longer be used when logging in.
The same e-mail address may be used as the login for more than one person (or child) as long as the passwords are unique.
You may log in as a different person using the same e-mail address and the other person’s public password, and you will
again be prompted to create a unique password for the second user. Please note that in order for the login to work properly,
the e-mail address must be listed in the person’s record.
Step 6: After your new password has been created, you may continue with the online registration. At this point you may add
additional classes for the person who is logged in, add an additional person to a class (for which you would need that person’s
ID number) or choose to finish the registration, where you’ll be asked to enter your payment information and submit.
