Tree Decorating Guidelines
Be Creative!!
Individuals/Families/School & Youth Groups:
Deck-A Tree is a great way for family and friends to show off their holiday spirit! Decorate a family tree. Gather up a group of friends and
sponsor a “friendship tree”. Collaborate with other groups that also want to take part in the holiday fun!
Businesses/Organizations:
Does your company already hand out trinkets?? Use those trinkets as decorations! Laminate business cards and string them around
your tree. Specialize in making a certain product or offering a particular service? Create an ornament that shows off your specialty! Do
certain colors represent your organization? Color your tree in those shades! Decoration ideas are endless!
Decoration Celebration and Tree Decorating Hours:
Groups or individuals may decorate their tree during Park business hours from December 5th-9th. To kick off this event, our Decoration
Celebration will take place on December 5th, from 3:30-7:00pm where we will be serving up hot cocoa and cookies to fellow tree
decorators.
