Vertical Sliding Window Specification
Construction
The FormAL 5Pi thermally broken vertical sliding window has
been designed in such a way that its’ attractive and clean lines will
enhance all types of residential and commercial property. Both
sashes on the FormAL 5Pi can be tilted for cleaning and
maintenance purposes to ensure long term visual appeal.
Hardware
Standard hardware consists of torso balances and a concealed
locking mechanism. The FormAL 5Pi can be fitted with lockable
restrictors at 100mm increments.
Glazing
The FormAL 5Pi has a range of glazing beads and gaskets, which
allow glazing from 22mm to 32mm.
Testing
All windows are designed in accordance with BS4873 and other
industry standards.
Performance
Size limits are generally dictated by the weight of the sash,
however as a general principal the following limits should not be
exceeded.
