Tomato spotted wilt virus vectored by western flower thrips • Verimark™ was applied as a transplant tray drench at a rate of 13.5 oz/A. • Platinum 2SL and Venom were applied via drip chemigation over 45 minutes, and water was run for 1 hour after the injections. • Radiant and Dimethoate were applied with tractor-mounted sprayer at 30 gpa. Summary • In this study, plots that received the Verimark™ tray drench application resulted in highest yield increase and lowest incidence of tomato spotted wilt virus (Figures 1 and 2). • The use of Verimark™ increased yield by 4.5 and 5.2 tons/A over the foliar program treatment when Platinum/ Venom was used or not used, respectively (Figure 2).
