Verimark™ tray drench made on May 17, same day of transplant
Verimark™ stops insect-vector feeding fast enough
to reduce transmissions of some plant diseases.
Tomato spotted wilt virus vectored by western flower thrips
• Verimark™ was applied as a transplant tray drench at a rate of
13.5 oz/A.
• Platinum 2SL and Venom were applied via drip chemigation
over 45 minutes, and water was run for 1 hour after the
injections.
• Radiant and Dimethoate were applied with tractor-mounted
sprayer at 30 gpa.

Summary
• In this study, plots that received the
Verimark™ tray drench application
resulted in highest yield increase and
lowest incidence of tomato spotted
wilt virus (Figures 1 and 2).
• The use of Verimark™ increased yield
by 4.5 and 5.2 tons/A over the foliar
program treatment when Platinum/
Venom was used or not used,
respectively (Figure 2).

tons/A over the untreated when
Platinum/Venom was used or not
used, respectively (Figure 2).
• No adverse crop response was
observed with Verimark™ or any other
treatments.
Plants treated with Verimark TD resulted in the lowest level of tomato spotted wilt virus.
