2006 Events Report UVWRT participated in 57 events in 2006: 37 in NH and 20 in VT. There were 38 callouts, 17 trainings and 2 meetings. For the 38 callouts we had a total response of 320 members for an average of 8.42 responders per callout. For the 19 callouts in NH, we had a total participation of 149 for an average of 7.84 responders per callout. For the 19 callouts in VT, we had a total participation of 171 for an average of 9 members per callout. For the 17 trainings, 218 members participated for an average of 12.82 members per training event. All but one training was in NH. At the end of 2006, UVWRT had a roster of 67 members: 27 active, 17 probationary, 16 inactive and 7 affiliate. Thursday, April 05, 2007 Page 1 of 9 A year end message from the Team Leader... Hello Everyone, Well it’s that time of year again when we look back at the past year and, what a year it has been. As all of you know this has been the busiest year for searches we have ever had. We have saved lives, helped to bring closure to friends and loved ones over this past year. We have all had to take enormous time off from work and time away from our loved ones, friends and, family. I would like to thank each and every one of you for all your time and efforts over these many searches. We could not have the team we have without all of you. I proud of you all! Well Done! I would also like for you to thank your friends, family and, loved ones for keeping the home fires burning while we are away on those very long searches that happen at the worst times of the day or night. They are truly the unsung heros of the team so please thank them for me. I very much appreciate their support. I would also like to thank all the officers for all their time and guidance over this past year. I could not run this team without you. You have made my job much easier, thank you. I mean what I have typed above. This team would not exist without all your time and efforts. We do great work so let’s keep our skills at there highest levels, because, as you all know lives depend on us doing our job and, doing it well so I will continue to bite at your heals to attend trainings, searches and carry outs.
