Welcome
We are proud to present our first full
season at the New Theatre Royal
Lincoln. Our aim is to bring a varied
programme with performances to suit all
age groups whilst covering a wide range
of genres. We have lots of amazing plans
going forward which we are so excited to
share with you in the coming months.
As a theatre we don't receive any funding
and over the next year we will be doing a
vast amount of fundraising to help with
the restoration of this beautiful building.
We will also be working alongside the
community providing many engagement
opportunities. We have recently
introduced our ‘Friends of the Theatre’
Loyalty Card to help with this.
The support we have received from you
the public, local businesses and the
performing arts industry has been
fantastic! It really shows how much this
theatre is loved by all!
Since opening in September we have
been working around the clock to bring
the theatre back into the hearts of the
community and with your continued
support we will achieve this.
You can follow us on Facebook, Twitter
and Instagram to keep up to date with
news and behind the scenes photos and
stories. #wesupportntr
The New Theatre Royal family want to
offer all our visitors whether it be
audience members or performers an
unforgettable and wonderful experience.
We look forward to welcoming you to

Jane Austen sits writing, her quill scurrying across the vellum. She is dreaming up Darcy –
a proud, lip curling, handsome creation in very tight pants. But a door squeaks, a visitor
approaches and Jane hastily hides her work. Now left to his own devices, Darcy embroiders
his own storyline whilst his creator stitches her quilt. When Jane returns she finds the plot
has moved on and Darcy is dancing to a different tune.
