What you will see and hear:
When you go to the Beaver Creek Reserve Nature Center, you experience many things: beautiful birds singing
from the bird-watching deck, chipmunks chattering in the trees, mosquitoes buzzing all around, and the water
rushing over the rocks. You can touch things in the Nature Center, too, so don’t tell your children, “Don’t
touch!” The stuffed beavers have soft fur, the pheasants and owls have smooth feathers, and the porcupine
has prickly quills! There are live animals, too, like snakes, turtles, and honey bees!
You can see the green plants, tall trees, and a lot of wildlife, like the birds, squirrels,
and mosquitoes and bugs. The smell in the air will remind you of being outside. On
a warm day, the Nature Center was nice and cool. Go to Beaver Creek you’ll have
lots of fun!
