The EF 600mm f/4L IS II USM is a newly-developed, large
diameter, super-telephoto lens, that features completely
redesigned optics to provide better image quality and significant
weight reduction than its predecessor. It is also equipped with
Canon's Image Stabilization function, making it the equivalent of
4 shutter-speed settings faster, while the active use of
magnesium alloy in the body makes it lighter. These features,
coupled with other improvements such as better dust- and
waterproofing make this, an ultra high-performance lens that
combines superb ease-of-use with excellent durability made for
the digital age
