ENJOY YOUR MEA BREAK!
TODAY: Juniors who signed up the PSAT test please go to Room 105B (Mrs. Bly's room) at 8:00 a.m on this
morning. Remember to bring several SHARPENED #2 pencils (no mechanical pencils) and a calculator. You
may also bring a bottle of water and a snack for the break. Testing should be complete around 11:45 a.m.
TODAY is UNITY DAY: Wear orange to show your support for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.
Everyone wearing orange will get a treat at lunch! You are invited to sign our new school unity pledge during
your lunch today. At 1:00 pm we will have an assembly featuring "The Voice" finalist Kat Perkins. Please go
directly to the auditorium for AP today.
TODAY: Due to the short week, JH Knowledge Bowl practice will be held directly after school today.
TODAY: JUNIORS who plan to take the ACT test at MCC on April 19 are reminded to turn in your
registration form to Mrs. Beech by the end of the day.
DRIBBLE IT…PASS IT…SHOOT IT! There will be an intense basketball clinic offered for boys and girls
in grades 4-8 on Sundays – October 30, November 6 and November 13 from 4:00-5:30 pm in the MCC Central
Gymnasium. Instructor is Coach Tom Pryor and Cost is $30. Stop in the Community Ed Office for registration
form or for more information. Deadline to register is Monday, October 24.
SENIORS who were not able to attend Financial Aid Night, please stop by the Counseling Center to pick up a
packet of information.
JUNIORS will be attending the College Fair at SMSU on Monday, October 24. Please load the bus outside the
principal's office at 8:30 a.m. You should be back for part of block 3.
SENIORS are reminded that most Minnesota State Colleges have "Free Application Week" during the week of
October 24th through the 28th. Please get your completed applications to Mrs. Beech by Wed. Oct. 26th so she
has time to send them in with your transcript.
