STATEMENT FOR TUTORING
Pavel Andreyanov has been tutoring math-intensive classes a lot. He prefers to tutor on campus.
Francisco Arroyo Marioli is an experienced tutor with more than 7 years of TA experience in both undergraduate and graduate economics. Spanish and English. He has
tutored for Econ 1,2, 11, 41 101, 102 and 103. For any other class, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Jacob Berman has experience tutoring undergraduates at the University of Chicago and is familiar with all of the material covered in UCLA’s undergraduate curriculum.
Beyond course material, he can also offer concrete tips for improving study habits and succeeding on exams.
El Hadi Caoui is an experienced tutor for Econ 1, 11, 41, 101, 102, and 103. He was previously a TA for Econ 11 and 41, so he has first-hand knowledge of how these
classes are taught.
Nicholas Carollo is available to tutor any undergraduate Econ course that he isn't TAing. He has been a TA for Econ 1 and has previously tutored Econ 11, 41, and 101.
Please contact him two days before you want to meet so he can prepare for the session. He is happy to do either one-on-one or group sessions.
Felipe Carrera has six years of experience as a TA for both econ and math classes. He can tutor English and Spanish speakers.
Neng Chieh Chang can teach any microeconomics and econometrics classes. He was a TA for Econ 11 in Fall, 2016.
Georgios Cheimonitis tutors all levels of high school math (pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, calculus) and economics, as well as college lower and upper
division economics. His special preference is to tutor Econ 1, 11, 41, 101 and 103. He can tutor around the UCLA/Westwood, West LA, Culver City and Palms areas.
Mengshan Cui is an experienced tutor and teaching assistant for economic classes, including Econ 1, 11, 41, 101, and 103. She has been rated the best TA in Economics
and she has taught Econ 101 for summer sessions as the instructor. She is patient, clear, and knowledgeable.
Alec Davidson has been tutoring econ students at various levels for the last five years. He has extensive experience with the professors and classes at UCLA. His
schedule is extremely flexible. He prefers to meet on campus if possible, but is open to other locations if necessary.
Oliver Davies is available to tutor many classes in Economics. He is available to meet on-campus.

Nicholas Doran tutors Econ 1, 11, 101, and 106G. He has had experience TAing all of these courses at UCLA. He has a BA in Math and Economics from Rutgers, and is a
native English speaker. He differentiates himself from other tutors in that his priority at UCLA is to become a great teacher rather than a researcher.
Sepehr Ekbatani has an engineering and economics background. He can help students with both mathematics and intuitions of undergraduate courses in economics
(specifically Econ 1, 2, 11 and 41). He also tutors econometrics to graduate students.
Xinyu Fan prefers to use his reputation as a tutor and a TA for his statement.
Alexandre Fon can tutor all undergraduate UCLA economics classes. He has experience teaching and tutoring economics. He can help with the methods and tools
needed to succeed in those classes.
Xuanyu Fu is able to explain problems and concepts in a clear, concise manner. She is bilingual (fluent in English and Chinese), and is very willing to help others.
Alessio Galluzzi has been teaching and tutoring undergraduates for the past few years, helping them with both class material and final projects. He has deep experience
with Econ 11 (TA for five quarters and instructor for one). Students can expect detailed but straight to the point explanations of the material from him. He is available
for individual and group (2 to 4 people) tutoring sessions.
Renato Giroldo has extensive experience tutoring UCLA's econ classes and his students have had success in their courses. He is organized, patient and knowledgeable.
Alexander Graupner has tutored students in Economics and Mathematics for over 5 years, and he specializes in Microeconomics and Statistics/Econometrics. He is
available to tutor on weekdays and weekends, and he is a native English speaker.
Wenshu Guo has been a teaching assistant in the Economics Department for three years. She specializes in teaching microeconomics and econometrics courses, and
offers tutoring for Econ 1, 11, 101, and 103. She taught Econ 11 last summer and was a TA for the PhD microeconomics for one quarter. Both English and Chinese
speakers are welcome.
Jingyi Huang tutors for all undergraduate Econ classes. Her past students saw significant improvement in their grades with her help. She is available for both one-on-one
and group sessions.
Akina Ikudo's goal in tutoring is to make students’ lives easier. She helps students understand fundamental ideas so that they can have some fun on weekends instead
of spending the whole day staring at homework.
Ioannis Kospentaris is an experienced tutor with three years of teaching experience. He is an award-winning teaching assistant. He is patient and approachable, as his
student evaluations show. In the past he has tutored several economics classes including Econ 1, 2, 11, 102 and 164.

Fanghua Li tutors all econometrics related courses, including Econ 41 and Econ 103.
Lu Liu is an experienced TA for Econ 11 and Econ 103. She also has tutoring experience for undergraduate level courses. Her goal for tutoring is to help students
understand the fundamental concepts and offer students efficient tips for solving problems. She is fluent in English and is native in Chinese (Cantonese).
Nan Liu has experience tutoring Econ 11, Econ 41, Econ 101 and Econ 103.
Shuo Liu tutors undergraduate level Micro, Macro and Metrics theory and also money and banking, growth theory and international finance. He was a TA for Econ 41,
102, and 103. He has also tutored these classes. His graduate fields are Macroeconomics and Econometrics.
Yingju Ma has been a TA for Econ 1, 11, 101 and graduate courses in the last three years. He has also taught Econ 106P in Summer 2015 and 2016.
Flavien Moreau is an experienced tutor with a focus on macroeconomics and econometrics. He'll be happy to help students master economic concepts and get ready to
ace exams. He is flexible, happy to meet on campus or in cafes in Westwood.
Giovanni Nicoló is an experienced tutor. He earned a deep knowledge of the material one has to study and most importantly of the questions that students will be
tested on. Students with whom he has worked always achieved great results and often referred their classmates on to him. He looks forward to keeping up the good
work with UCLA students.
Brett McCully takes a holistic approach to tutoring, working to improve not only a student’s understanding of particular course material, but also to assess and revise
the student's study skills in general. He has several years of tutoring experience and is a native English speaker.
Rustin Partow has been tutoring students in economics and math since he was an undergrad at George Washington University in Washington, DC. He feels he is good at
identifying and adapting to students' learning styles -- indicating that some students learn from graphs while others learn from hypothetical scenarios. He tries to
motivate his students by making sure that they have fun and by acknowledging their hard work.
Vladimir Pecheu has more than 5 year experience tutoring. His priority is the success of his students and their ability to understand the subject.

Ksenia Shakhgildyan is an experienced and dedicated tutor who loves to teach and share her knowledge with her students. She has won a Teaching Assistant Award.
She is originally from Russia and is interested in econometrics and industrial organization, thus is especially happy to tutor any Econometrics and Microeconomics
courses. She used to teach Statistics, Econometrics and Microeconomics for 4 years, and she also tutors Math.
Hualei Shang has been a TA for Econ 1, 2, 11 and 101 at UCLA and Intermediate Macroeconomics & Intermediate Econometrics at Peking University in China.
Jesper Sørensen is an experienced tutor of four years and an award-winning teaching assistant. In the past, he has tutored several economics classes at both the
undergraduate and graduate level including Econ 1, 2, 11, 41, 103/L, 144, 203A, and 203C. He also has provided feedback on material needed to apply for graduate
school and PhD programs. He prefers to tutor on campus, in Westwood, or in Brentwood.
Christopher Surro is a PhD student interested in macroeconomics. He has been a TA for Econ 1, 2, and 102 and has experience tutoring Econ 1, 2, 11, 41, 101, 102, and
103. He can meet students on campus or in Westwood and he has a flexible schedule.
Vitaly Titov has more than 5 years of teaching and tutoring experience of economics, both at lower and upper division level. He focuses on understanding the material
over memorization of algorithms.
Diana Maria Van Patten Rivera has tutored students for 8 years, and she has extensive experience TAing and tutoring UCLA Econ classes, including Econ 1, 2, 11, 41,
101, 102, 121, and 106F. She is available for tutoring both on weekdays and weekends, and prefers to meet on campus or in Westwood.
Yutong Wang has extensive experience in tutoring. He has tutored UCLA's undergraduate students in economics for many years. He has also TAed many of UCLA's econ
