Social Skills Group! LEGO Based Please join our brand new social skills group, LEGO based therapy! LEGO based social skills group is designed to support and teach cooperation, responsibility, working as a team, social communication, and form meaningful social relationships. The aim of the group is to have children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder practice and strengthen their social and fine motor skills while having the opportunity to build LEGOS! This program will be led by our clinical social worker, Betsy Stoelt, who has years of experience facilitating and teaching individuals and groups with autism. There will also be a parent education component with each session that will run concurrently while your child is learning to help extend the skills beyond the group. 8 Sessions: 7/9 – 8/27 Dates: Thursdays 10-11:30am For ages 6-11 FEE: $400 per child (Total due before first session) The deadline to register for this group is JUNE 17th There are no refunds for missed sessions Enroll now at autismcenter@emich.edu or 734-487-2890 Additional questions or concerns about the program?
