he patted his

One night, when Grandpa Grundy
got down his jelly bean jar,
there was only one jelly bean left.
“I can’t eat the last jelly bean,”
he said.
So he thought and thought.
“I know,” he said.
“I’ll plant this jelly bean in the backyard.
I’ll grow a jelly bean tree.”
Grandpa Grundy was so excited
with his fantastic idea,
he patted his wiggly, jiggly tummy,
and he sang,
“HO! HO! HO!
HEE! HEE! HEE!
I’m going to have a jelly bean tree!”

Ho! Ho! . . .

He dug a hole in the backyard,
and he popped it in.
Then he sang,

So Maria dug up a tree from her backyard,
and, when Grandpa Grundy was asleep,
