was funded with gifts that meet each of the following Internal Revenue Service criteria for tax deductible contributions:
 The gift is not for services rendered;
 The gift is not from family members of the selected students;
 The gift is not designated for a particular student

Signatures of two church officials who are not related to the recipients are required. Appropriate signatures include: elder, minister, deacon chairman, scholarship
committee chairman, finance committee chairman, church business administrator, etc.
Church Match Scholarship Award
Provides a matching scholarship to students who receive a scholarship from a
congregation of the Churches of Christ.
Eligibility Requirements

Send the scholarship check with the completed Application for Church Match Scholarship.
Must receive a matching scholarship from a congregation of the Churches of Christ and be
enrolled full-time (12 hours per semester).
Renewal Requirements
Student must:
 remain enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student
 maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0
 remain in good standing with respect to all OC policies
 continue to receive a scholarship from congregation
Amount
The maximum amount eligible for the matching scholarship is $500 per student per academic year.

Awarding Philosophy
For fall and spring semesters only; not for use during the summer sessions. This award may be combined
