He got his B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from REC Srinagar Kashmir (now NIT Srinagar) in Dec, 1989. He received his M. E. Degree in Electrical Engineering with Hon’s from University of Roorkee, (now IIT Roorkee) in Jan, 1998. He is presently working for his Ph.D. degree at NIT Srinagar (formerly REC Srinagar).
