Welcome & Apologies;
The Chariperson welcomed back the committee and thanked them for the
flowers sent after the death of her father.

They thanked the community for their involvement
There are 3km of trail from Anderson Walk to Stebonheath Park
Partnerships – Community, Opal, Council, Renewal SA, Anglicare
The timeline was:
1. June 13 Community consultation
2. August 13 Draft concept
3. September 13 Installation of major elements
4. October 13 Footpath art
5. October 13 Launch
Over 500 local children and parents involved in project
Positive feedback about the consultation process.

be with the Playford Alive project

Due to licence difficulties the proposed Tavern will be re advertised.

Town Park – on task – planning going ahead – uncertain of exact starting
date -Currently still on target to complete works by end 2014.

Stage 3B – 68 lots – completion due end of March – lots being sold off
plan
Sales – drop off of sales to normal now that Grants reduced, new home

Stolen Generation – Indigenous Healing Garden at Stebonheath Park – planning
and consultation under way – Stage 1&2 has been funded and underway.
PACT Community Group of the year at Playford Australia Day Celebrations –

CRG nominations for new committee due shortly – 2 year term begins July 2014.
Advertisements in paper seeking nominations.
Stretton Centre – Currently at detailed design stage – Award tender April –
subject to meeting budget – June 2015 completion date.
Stebonheath Curtis Road Wetland – Landscaping under way – seating , shelter,
pathways – completion in April
John McVeity Centre – Construction well underway – completion scheduled for
September 2014.
Peachey Road – Construction 45% complete – roundabout under construction –
completion due April 2014.

Reports:

Pauline Frost reported that her group have received $5,000 for the Birds Bats
and Biodiversity project and are excited by the project.

If the temperature is over 36 degrees then the club closes
Youth On the Move – youth group – preparation for training – work,
volunteering – inspire, learn, play, engage – better futures, local solutions.
Starting “What’s in your lunchbox, - pamphlets given out – working in
participation with nutrition advisor - another component of “Health and
Wellbeing in Playford”.
Club has formed a committee with members such as parents and residents
which involves young people in what they would like to do and see in the
Club.
Club is funded until June 30th
Young local man has placement helping the group
CRG invited to hold a meeting at the club rooms March meeting suggested.

Problem of children crossing by the roundabout on Curtis Road discussed
Footpaths around Mark Oliphant College was discussed regarding people having
to walk on roads due to footpaths not being completed.
CRG terms of reference to be reviewed at before next meeting.
