11th ADAM (ACTOR) INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE May 16-17, 2014 Podgorica, Montenegro Ankara Centre for Thought and Research ADAM (ACTOR) is a non-profit organization and began its activities as a civil society initiative in 2006. It was established by a group of academicians in Ankara, with the aim of improving the quality of human capital and human resources of the society as well as supporting social and cultural activities for young generations. ADAM organizes training activities and research projects to achieve these targets. In this context, ADAM began organizing annual international conference series in 2008. Previously, ADAM International Conferences were held in SarajevoBosnia and Herzegovina (2008), Damascus-Syria (2009), Baku-Azerbaijan (2010), Skopje-Macedonia & Pristina-Kosovo (2011), Accra-Ghana (2012), SimferopolUkraine (2012), Plovdiv-Bulgaria (2012), Zanzibar-Tanzania (2013). ADAM organizes its Eleventh International Conference in Podgorica, Montenegro in cooperation with İstanbul Sabahattin Zaim University and University Donja Gorica. Participants and speakers from the host university as well as from various universities of Turkey, Bosnia and Macedonia will present papers and contribute to the discussions. The theme of the conference is "Turkish and Balkan Relations: Past, Present and Future.” The presentations will be given in English. Following the conference, selected papers will be published in an edited book by ADAM.
