Piazza del Ponterosso Trieste 9 -10 -11 May 2014 Our sea , our future Mare Nordest aims to be a meeting point for all lovers of the sea, diving and nautica of north-east of Italy and the nearby Austria, Slovenia and Croatia. During the event, in addition to the village dedicated to nautica and sea-related economy, the Association organizes a three-day of scientific seminars, underwater photography competitions, performances with watercraft, cleaning of the seabed in the area of Ponterosso Canal and a football tournament with flippers. In addition guided tours to the Aquarium, to the pontoon Ursus and in cooperation with the Natural Marine Reserve of Miramare mini interactive biology lessons for kids. During the event we will have as guests Folco Quilici who will comment ‘Oceano’ , one of his documentaries recently restored, Nicolò Carnimeo who will present his latest book on Plastic Islands, Sergio Cechet who will tells about diving for disabled and Mike Rutzen will presents Night Sharks. The guest of honor and godmother of the Mare Nordest 2014 will be Patrizia Maiorca. Tri e s t In agreement with FIPSAS (Italian Federation of Sport Fishing and Underwater Activities) during the event there will be training courses for FIPSAS Instructors coming fron central and northern Italy, fotosub tournament valid for qualifying to the Italian Championship, a Photographic Safari and the 3rd Moreno Genzo Trophy (open to everyone). For those who prefer the train: Trieste Centrale and then Corso Cavour for 400 meters until you reach Ponterosso Canal.
