That distinguishes them from the G and H series blades which have the base angle ears located approximately 9/16" in from the rear edge of the base angle. The number of hinges depends upon the series and length of the blades. That number is the same as the number of full ribs. When replacing an old-style A-frame, be sure to use the A-frame directly to the right of it in the illustration below. Note, however, that installation on these vehicles does require modification of the existing vehicle wiring. To install an Isolation Module system on a vehicle with LF/UF headlamps, cut off and discard the headlamp connectors from the plug-in harness(es) noted in the illustrations below, then splice the wires from the plug-in harness(es) into the vehicle headlamp wiring as shown.
